Tool for this job

Install Toolkit 1.7.3 (installs your local ROIASIC file, phones nowhere for firmware) - pick your platform below, SHA-256 published

Amlogic boards with stock from September 2025 also lock the USB port. The USB port must be unlocked first - write to support, we walk you through it
Stock firmware from March 2024 carries Bitmain signature locks. Install only through the toolkit flow (v1.7.1+). If the toolkit reports an ssh error, first update the miner with the newest stock web-update, then retry. Unsure about the exact board revision? Ask support before any stock update

Step by step

  1. Download the install file above and check the SHA-256 matches
  2. Install the toolkit on a computer in the same network as the miner
  3. Create a group with your miners' IP range and let it scan; select your miners
  4. Choose Install firmware, point to the folder with the downloaded file and confirm - the toolkit's name and version fields can stay at defaults. Do not cut power while flashing ⚑
  5. Open the miner web UI: set your pools, pick a preset, watch the first hour

⚑ owner confirmation required - do not run unattended

After the install

Back to stock

Safety net: rollback to stock Bitmain firmware is built in and typically takes a few minutes including reboot. Custom presets and settings do not carry over - note your pools and workers first. Unusual board revision? Contact support to verify this hardware revision before flashing
